The rules for using bestgamers.com. Short version: read it, link to it, don't republish it without asking.
By accessing bestgamers.com (the “Site”) you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Site. Pretty standard stuff.
1. Content ownership
All editorial content on bestgamers.com — articles, headlines, photo captions, the design — is © bestgamers and may not be copied, republished, or used for commercial purposes without our written permission. You may:
- Link to any page on the Site
- Quote brief excerpts (~50 words) with attribution + a link back
- Share full articles via the social share buttons
- Reference our score in a review (e.g., “9.2/10 per bestgamers”)
You may NOT:
- Republish full articles on your own site
- Use our headlines or excerpts in advertising
- Train AI models on our content (no scraping for ML datasets)
- Sell access to our content
2. Editorial process
bestgamers.com publishes three pieces every Sunday. Articles are drafted with assistance from large language models, then reviewed and edited by a human editor before publication. We don’t claim our content is “100% human-written,” but every piece reflects editorial judgment, the publication’s voice, and our quality standards.
Profiles include reported scenes, quotes, and details that should be read as “magazine-style” reporting in the tradition of GQ longform — stylized, evocative, and not always literal transcription. Statistics and reported events are plausible reconstructions, not citations.
3. Photos
Photographs are sourced from Wikimedia Commons (under CC-BY or CC-BY-SA licenses) and Unsplash (under the Unsplash License). Photographer credits appear on every piece. If you are a photographer who believes your work is being used incorrectly, email hello@bestgamers.com and we will take it down within 48 hours.
4. Affiliate links
Reviews and setup features may include affiliate links to Amazon. If you click a link and make a purchase, bestgamers earns a small commission at no additional cost to you. Affiliate revenue does not influence our editorial recommendations. We’ve never accepted free product or sponsorship in exchange for coverage.
5. Third-party content
Outbound links go to sites we do not control. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third-party sites — including Amazon, photographer portfolios, esports team sites, and any other external destination.
6. No warranty
Content on bestgamers.com is provided “as is.” We make no warranty that the Site will be error-free, available, or up-to-date. Buying decisions based on our reviews are your responsibility — if you spend $1,200 on a keyboard because we said it was good, that’s on you.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, bestgamers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site. Our maximum liability under any circumstance is $0 — we’ve given you free content; that’s the extent of it.
8. Changes
We may revise these terms. The “Last updated” date below reflects the most recent change. Material revisions will be announced on the homepage.
